Spent last night learning how to swing dance with @mleliew and @jason-ali, among others (Debbie, Marissa, Jin, James) in the city. Got there like 30 min early because that’s what Debbie told me to do..fail lol. But then we had an hour long class learning some basic moves and interacting a bit with the other class members. At 9 was the social dancing party. Practiced steps and stuff we learned :) It was really intimidating to see all the people who have CLEARLY been dancing for a while, but I hope to be at that level one day (LET’S DO IT JASON! :D). Also, it was particularly fun when the guys that knew what they were doing asked to dance, because I just followed their lead. They were so full of energy and slowed it down a bit for me when I lost pace and stuff. It was so awesome. I can’t wait to go again!
I’m also happy I was wearing a dress. It got hot in there fast and it made me feel good about myself. Dressing up, ftw! xD
